Here are the various stages of creating the cover to Habitual Entertainment #4.

Routine, the poster, is now in the shop. Only ten bucks.

I-Con. In Rememberance.

Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007

This convention started out pretty slow. Sarah and I did our best to stay alert, though.

Things started to pick up later. Because when I think comics, I think wrestling. This was directly in the middle of the convention floor.

Still, it was a pretty good show. Sold a fair number of books and met the very cool Max Riffner, who just won the esteemed Isotope award for his charming mini, Quick Step. Check it out.

Technical Difficulties

Looks like Comicspace is down. So Beautiful, Cool and Irreplaceable will return when their site is back up. I wonder when THAT will be …

Update: They are switching servers, and it looks like it’ll be done this Friday. So I’m hoping BCI will return Monday.

Sketchbook

Is anyone going to be in Iowa this weekend for I-Con? Anyone? Well, I’ll be there.

I Look At Computers Too Much

Monday, May 14th, 2007

I’ve updated willdinski.com. I really should be drawing.

Note: If you’ve been to the site before, it may not look right unless you reset your cache.

I’ve another new book for sale in the shop. An Endorsement of Smoking.

Comic Book Conventions

Tuesday, May 1st, 2007

Microcon was yesterday and it was an unequivocal success! I have no idea who these people in this photo are. But if you look way way way way in the back …

… you’ll find yours truly.

As you can see, I’m fighting off my raging fans with a stick, while still looking coolly uninterested.

The fine folks who run the show have been nothing but hospitable. I had a free table for the day and they even provided lunch. Hopefully I’ll see you all at Fallcon this October.
